Understanding the multiple meanings of the ICT in the context of globalization, migrations and localities

The role of basic digital competences in advancing employability outcomes for immigrant in the European Union

 Day 5 – Strategies for the future

ICT in migration governance: an example of the website for the returnees

Research activities on ICT and migrants in the EU

 Day 6 – Using TIC for migrants and refugees

Visit to an Association and meeting with its main representatives

Workshop: Resources to resolve realsituations

 Day 7 – Departure day

Course Methodology

​

Our courses, developed in the framework established by the Erasmus+ Programme, are crafted to include both formal and non-formal education methodologies. Starting with a theoretical approach to the theme of the course, we proceed with non-formal learning strategies in order to guarantee and stimulate an active contribution from the participants involved. In practice, we use:

 

Presentations; Analysis of study cases; Discussions in the classroom; Role-plays; Technical visits to local private and public institutions; Conferences with local professionals to exchange good practices; Job shadowing experiences; Workshops to rethink old practices and introduce new ones.

Course Objetives

​

  • Raise awareness on the importance of ICT in integration;

  • Explore and discover the benefits of ICT knowledge and application in the general understanding of another culture and point of view;

  • Help participants aknowledge all the methodologies to foster ICT good use in education;

  • Furnish tools to apply ICT in inclusion and cross-cultural understanding;

  • Foster an exchange with local colleagues on their experience with ICT for inclusion.
